Brought in a Seiko diver that had been sitting unused for four years. The movement cleaning took about ten days and they sent a message when it was done. The rate report showed ±8 seconds per day which is reasonable for the age of the calibre. They explained what they found when I collected — one worn part was shown to me alongside what replaced it.

Water-resistance reseal on a watch I use for swimming. The inspection was done the same day I dropped it off. Price was as quoted, no additions. Pressure test result was included on the slip when I picked it up. My only note is that the estimated pickup was day 4 and it was ready on day 6, but they did message me ahead of time to let me know.

Case refinish on a Citizen that belonged to my father. The watch had real dents on the case band from years of use. They were upfront that deep dents can only be reduced, not removed entirely, which I appreciated. Two checkpoint photos were sent during the job. The result was far better than I expected for a 40-year-old piece.

I sent a message through the website and had a reply the same working day. Booked in a movement service for a Hamilton. The findings report mentioned oil deterioration and a worn incabloc spring — both shown to me before anything was agreed. The watch came back running noticeably more smoothly and the timing print was included.

Water-resistance check on a Casio G-Shock before a dive trip. Quick turnaround — dropped off Monday, collected Wednesday. The test confirmed the crown gasket needed replacement which they did on the spot. Straightforward transaction, no unexpected charges.

I had a vintage Omega that hadn't been serviced in over a decade. The inspection report was the most detailed I've seen — four specific issues listed with plain explanations. I agreed to the full movement clean and the watch came back tracking well. The rate report showed it was averaging −4 sec/day which is good for a 1970s movement.

In Detail

Three Jobs, Described Plainly

Challenge

A Longines with a cracked crystal and corroded crown gasket. The movement was also gaining about 45 seconds per day. Owner was planning to give it to his son.

Work Done

Crystal replaced with a compatible mineral glass. Crown gasket and back gasket replaced and pressure tested. Full movement disassembly, cleaning, and regulation.

Outcome

Pressure test passed at 3 ATM. Timing machine showed +6 sec/day average after regulation. Completed in 12 working days across both services.

"The watch looks presentable again and keeps time properly. That's all I needed — no surprises on the bill either." — Watchara P., Khon Kaen

Challenge

A stainless steel diver's watch used heavily over 7 years. Scratched case, worn brushed finish, and no recent water-resistance check. Owner was resuming diving.

Work Done

Case refinishing — surface preparation, re-brushing of case flanks, polished bezel. Fresh crown and case back gaskets. Pressure tested to 10 ATM.

Outcome

Case finish returned to close-to-original condition. Pressure test passed at 10 ATM. Two checkpoint photos sent during work. Completed in 18 working days.

"They sent progress photos which I didn't expect. Good to see what stage the job was at." — Thida N., Mueang Khon Kaen

Challenge

A quartz dress watch that had stopped completely. Condensation visible inside the crystal. Battery changed elsewhere but still not running.

Work Done

Inspection found a corroded battery contact and damaged back gasket. Contact cleaned and treated. New gasket and crystal fitted. Pressure tested. Movement confirmed operational.

Outcome

Watch running normally. Pressure test passed at 3 ATM. Total cost was lower than the initial estimate as the movement itself required no further work. Completed in 4 working days.

"They told me upfront the movement might need work too and quoted for that separately. It didn't need it, so the final bill was less." — Kanokwan S., Khon Kaen
